We were taken on a delightful tour of the moon while Tyler learned that he is still too little to do some things on his own and that doing them on his own could get him hurt. My son summed it up best when he said, 'Tyler could have been hurt really badly and no one would have known where he was,' and then, with tears in his eyes, he apologized for going outside to play anyway when I told him he had to wait for me to go with him. When a book makes a four-year-old understand why Mommy makes rules he does not like, it is worth reading every night.
